The Feed Table and Tavern

It was a rainy Monday and if you know downtown well, you know a lot of restaurants are closed on Mondays and our choices were slim. We kept walking and stumbled upon a restaurant called The Feed, located across the street from Clyde's On Main. This is a made from scratch and that is something that we strive to find. For Appetizer, we ordered the Triple B Fries. They are different, in a good way, beer battered with crispy bacon. If you like beer cheese this is definitely for you! The beer taste isn't as strong to me as others I have tried. The bacon needs to be either more salty or smokier to go with the beer cheese though.
Next,we ordered the Sloppy Joe. The bread is soft and the meat is tender. It makes you feel like a kid again, its not too greasy and not too tomato-y. I have come to dislike the typical sloppy joe or "Manwich" due to the fact that it is too tomato-y but, I could seriously eat this every day! For the side we got cole slaw. It had the perfect balance of mayo and vinegar.
The Tremont burger, what can I say about it? Its one of the best burgers I have ever had! Its 1/2 pound of Tremont Tavern's Proprietary Angus blend, the normal dressing for a burger and a fresh Niedlov's bun. Its got a nice char taste and its juicy and very flavorful. We got brussel sprouts with maple and smoked bacon. I have to admit that I didn't like the fact that he picked this as a side as I don't like them. To my surprise these were the best I have ever tasted! I am now spoiled and will sadly not eat brussel sprouts any other way.
I had to try the Chicken Gilroy. The best chicken sandwich I have ever had! The chicken is roasted with garlic and has a avocado spread, red onion, tomato, garlic aioli, swiss cheese, and spinach all on a Bluffview Bakery Focaccia.  
I can honestly say that as I'm writing this I am more than ready to go back!

Puleo's Grille is an Italian restaurant with a southern flair. Their menu seems a bit too big, with its endless varieties of seafood, burgers, steaks, and obviously Italian. On this visit, we ordered the fried green tomatoes.  They have great flavor and weren't too mushy and not too firm. 5 come on a plate, they are sitting on a scoop of their grits and 2 different gravies are separated by the grits. I have to be honest, I am not a fan of the tasso gravy and the other gravy isn't the best. They do put the grits and tasso gravy on a lot of their dishes. I could eat the grits all day as they are some of the best I've had. For entree, I ordered the Seafood Ravioli. The lobster got lost in the Ravioli in the sauce that covered the plate. Bantam and Biddy - Downtown Chattanooga

Chattanooga's newest downtown restaurant is located at 728 Market Street. I wouldn't have heard of this place if not for someone tagging me on Instagram and boy, am I glad he did! Walking in its a very comfy, cozy place. Everything is nice and clean. And wouldn't you know that our server was the one one who runs their Instagram?! Talk about fate! Some may not be able to tell by their name that they are mainly known for their chicken, as bantam is a small breed of chicken. They serve breakfast all day and they start serving lunch at 11:30. They have fresh made juices, coffees and teas. We ordered the Apple Zing. It is very refreshing and you can taste the carrot and ginger along with the apple.  I ordered the Big chicken Skillet. Its a skillet full of their home fries, onions, peppers, bacon, 3 eggs, cheese, and 3 chicken tenders. The home fries were cooked and flavored perfectly. Lupi's at Cambridge Square-ooltewah, Tn

We frequently visit this restaurant because we love Lupi's! Not only is the pizza the best around but, the service is excellent as well. The atmosphere is relaxing and the restaurant is always clean. If you go in the afternoon (around 3:30) you can beat the Saturday night rush. For those of you who like beer with your pizza(we don't drink) they have tap and imported beers and always have specials going on. The pizza of our choice is the Widow Maker, it has 5 kinds of meats(pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham, ground beef, and bacon). We like getting both ground and sliced Italian sausage along with extra cheese, white onions and roasted red and yellow peppers. The salads are great, I actually don't know of anything on their menu that doesn't taste good. Its kinda expensive but, you get what you pay for.
