Bar Louie Hamilton Place Part 2

Eating around the mall is hectic, especially when it's Christmastime. Our original decision was to go to The Cheesecake Factory but, with lines still going out the door we changed our mind and just went here instead. We were told to seat ourselves wherever we liked as it wasn't busy. For an appetizer, we ordered the Bavarian Pretzel Sticks. They come 4 to an order with cinnamon butter, queso and honey mustard. They are hard on the outside and soft on the inside, but, they have no salt on them as pretzels should have. The queso is a bit spicy but still good. The cinnamon butter isn't whipped. Don't get me wrong, its good but it just doesn't fit for an appetizer, it would be better as a dessert if the pretzels were covered in sugar. Pretzels were pretty average and didn't give us anything to jump for joy.
We had a craving for nachos so we decided to order the Buffalo Chicken Totchos. The hot sauce on this dish is very overpowering making everything taste like vinegar even when you get a chip that doesn't have any sauce on it. It has very little ranch to help with the vinegary-ness or the heat. It is overbaked and has more cheese stuck to the plate itself than the chips. For a $17 dish we expected it
would be a whole lot better! Low rating on that dish. Sorry, but, if you can't even make nachos right, there's something wrong! We were going to take this home with us but decided to trash it as the strong vinegar smell got to us. Come to think of it, I'm not sure if anyone would've eaten them. Beware! Looks can be very decieving!
I ordered The Impossible Burger. It's a veggie burger that tastes a lot like the real thing. You can still tell it's not real meat. It's flattened and skillet fried. It would be better if it had whole black beans. There's really nothing to say about this other than its a bit dry and very little flavor other than the toppings and condiments.
