Puleo's Grille Ooltewah, Tn

Puleo's Grille is an Italian restaurant with a southern flair. Their menu seems a bit too big, with its endless varieties of seafood, burgers, steaks, and obviously Italian. On this visit, we ordered the fried green tomatoes.
They have great flavor and weren't too mushy and not too firm. 5 come on a plate, they are sitting on a scoop of their grits and 2 different gravies are separated by the grits. I have to be honest, I am not a fan of the tasso gravy and the other gravy isn't the best. They do put the grits and tasso gravy on a lot of their dishes. I could eat the grits all day as they are some of the best I've had. For entree, I ordered the Seafood Ravioli.
The lobster got lost in the Ravioli in the sauce that covered the plate. The scoop of grits wasn't as big on my plate as there was on the appetizer plate. I did have to use the grits to soak up the sauce, which is why I thought there wasn't enough grits. The shrimp was ok as it took the flavor of the sauce. My fiancee ordered the Chicken Parmesan.
There was too much tomato sauce on the pasta. The piece of fried chicken breast was burnt on the edges. He didn't have much to say about his meal which usually that he didn't like it that much. For dessert, we ordered a half slice of chocolate hazelnut mousse cake.
It was very light and was my favorite out of the 2 that we ordered. It had a nice taste, but, that's all I really have to say about it. Nothing great, just chocolate mousse with an oreo type crust. We also ordered the chocolate lasagna.
The cake and filling were better than the honey that was drizzled all over it. The honey gave the cake a funny taste that made the cake taste well, funny. Honestly, I don't think we will be coming back unless it's a last resort.
