Carrabba's Italian Grill 2040 Hamilton Pl. Blvd.

Late Sunday afternoon we walked into the restaurant and were immediately greeted and seated. The waitress took our drink order and as we were deciding on an appetizer we noticed a couple with a little boy behind us. The couple wasn't paying any attention to him and he was running all over the place. They even lost him for a minute. They finally got him back into the booth and the next thing I know, he's sneezing in my hair! Now, being the person that I am I decided to keep my mouth shut and when they told him to get down, thankfully he did. Now, this is not the restaurants fault, but, it did kinda ruin our date. What we did notice was the carpet under our table wasn't swept before we were seated and the carpet going toward the kitchen was dirty. The hosts were dressed comfortably in t-shirts, while the servers were dressed a whole lot nicer. Our appetizer wasn't what we thought it would be, the Zucchini Fritte. It is hand-breaded and lightly fried zucchini served with a...

Lupi's at Cambridge Square-ooltewah, Tn

We frequently visit this restaurant because we love Lupi's! Not only is the pizza the best around but, the service is excellent as well. The atmosphere is relaxing and the restaurant is always clean. If you go in the afternoon (around 3:30) you can beat the Saturday night rush. For those of you who like beer with your pizza(we don't drink) they have tap and imported beers and always have specials going on. The pizza of our choice is the Widow Maker, it has 5 kinds of meats(pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham, ground beef, and bacon). We like getting both ground and sliced Italian sausage along with extra cheese, white onions and roasted red and yellow peppers. The salads are great, I actually don't know of anything on their menu that doesn't taste good. Its kinda expensive but, you get what you pay for. There is a nice little park right outside with tables with umbrellas and chairs that you can eat your pizza if you get it to go. They also have a take and bake menu and also...

Sticky Fingers at Hamilton Place

So, before I begin telling you all about our experience, I would like to tell you a little bit about us. My boyfriend has a degree in culinary from Florida Culinary Institute. I have a diploma in culinary from Culinard at Virginia College here in Chattanooga. We love going to different restaurants and trying new foods. That's what brought us to write a blog. These are just our opinion. We go to restaurants, fast food, and  wherever else we can find. Today, we went to Sticky Fingers at Hamilton Place. As we pulled into the parking lot, I wondered if they were even open as the parking lot was empty (it was 3:30). We walked in and were immediately seated. Though, there was only one other table of customers, it still took a couple of minutes for the waitress to come to our table to take our drink order. When we got our drinks, I excused myself to go to the restroom. Upon going into the stall I noticed the cover was missing that goes over the lock on the door. I like my privacy and I fe...

Red Lobster at Hamilton Place

Yesterday, my boyfriend and I went to the Red Lobster at Hamilton Place. The wait for a seat was a little long, but, I must say that it was worth it. We sat down to eat and our waitress brought our drinks quickly. Our salads and cheddar biscuits were great (as usual). The endless shrimp is a great value as long as you get your money's worth, pretty sure we did. The only thing that I have to complain about was the broccoli was dry. The choices of shrimp are few. But, they were very good. The Nashville hot wasn't hot enough according to my boyfriend but, he still liked it. The fried shrimp was the best. It costs extra but, the mashed sweet potatoes are great with the melted marshmallows and chopped pecans on top! The desert was the vanilla bean cheesecake with fresh strawberries was very good. Our server was very patient with us as we ordered multiple servings of the endless shrimp. She was very friendly and professional, and smiled and jokes with us. Very great experience!
