The Inn on the River in Pigeon Forge, Tn
If you are looking to get away for a couple of days or a week, here's a few suggestions and tips on where to stay and eat (or not) in Pigeon Forge. Two weeks ago I had a 3 day weekend and spontaneously packed our bags and went away on a weekend getaway. So, we didn't have a room reserved and had to blindly pick one. After checking out a couple of places we finally decided on a place called The Inn on the River. Walking in I noticed that in was very clean and the staff was very friendly and willing to help. Checking in was quick and easy. Remember to give your email address so that you can join their rewards program, trust me you'll want to as you'll stay here more than once! Upon arriving in our room we found it very clean. I was expecting to find the normal of out date patterned comforter, instead, we saw nice, clean white sheets and comforters. We happened to get 2 beds in our room and they were both very comfortable. The size of the mini fridge was just right. ...
